چکیده
Mercury’s Debussy Quadrangle (H14) lies between 0–90° E and 22.5–65° S. Here we use MESSENGER data to produce the first geological map of this quadrangle at a scale 1:3,000,000, based on linework completed 1:300,000. We distinguish crater units plains units. For compatibility with historic recent maps other Mercury quadrangles, global (Main Map), have made two versions map, craters classified according 3-class 5-class degradation system. additional for materials related Rembrandt impact basin. subdivide into three units: Smooth, Intermediate Intercrater Plains, which represent different generations formation. At least some Smooth Plains postdate event.

Geology of the Victoria quadrangle (H02), Mercury
Mercury’s quadrangle H02 ‘Victoria’ is located in the planet’s northern hemisphere and lies between latitudes 22.5° N and 65° N, and between longitudes 270° E and 360° E. This quadrangle covers 6.5% of the planet’s surface with a total area of almost 5 million km. Our 1:3,000,000-scale geologic map of the quadrangle was produced by photo-interpretation of remotely sensed orbital images captured...
متن کاملGeology of the Carrizozo Quadrangle, New Mexico
Every fall since 1950, the New Mexico Geological Society (NMGS) has held an annual Fall Field Conference that explores some region of New Mexico (or surrounding states). Always well attended, these conferences provide a guidebook to participants. Besides detailed road logs, the guidebooks contain many well written, edited, and peer-reviewed geoscience papers. These books have set the national s...
متن کاملQuaternary Geology of the Detroit, Michigan Quadrangle and Surrounding Areas
A preliminary 1:24,000 scale surficial geologic map of the Detroit 7.5 minute topographic quadrangle, and surrounding areas, was produced to serve as a framework for future urban site assessment. The results show that the map area is a relict late Pleistocene glacial landscape on which is superimposed a Holocene system of streams, lakes and wetlands, and an Anthropocene landscape of manufacture...

PLAINS MATERIALS pvs VERY SMOOTH PLAINS MATERIAL—Occurs as smooth planar surfaces only in floors of c 4 and c 5 craters (FDS 529126). Very few superposed craters at Mariner 10 resolutions. Interpretation: Probably shock-melt and fallback associated with formation of individual craters ps SMOOTH PLAINS MATERIAL—Forms flat to gently rolling plains in extremely large annulus surrounding Caloris Ba...
